Integralbianco® benefits from the positive effects of taking in the bran and germ contained in the wheat kernel while maintaining the appearance and taste of a white flour. A patented natural process separates the soluble fiber from the insoluble fiber contained in the bran, making it more bioavailable, in an amount 20% greater than that available in a food made from whole wheat flour. It also deprives it of the woody part that causes discomfort in chewing, colon irritation, intestinal problems and is responsible for its characteristic bitter taste that is unappealing to the consumer.
Integralbianco® flour is rich in pentosans, selectively utilized by the “good” intestinal flora promoting physical well-being, and polyphenols and ferulic acid, excellent antioxidants that are effective against free radicals and, therefore, against aging.
Integralbianco® flour products, while having the appearance and organoleptic properties of a white “00”-type food, provide a higher nutritional intake than a whole-wheat product, boast greater digestibility, are fluffier, lighter, offer significant enrichment from an organoleptic and health-nutritional perspective, and reduce the absorption of fat and blood sugar.
