Biography
La Pupazza is the signature work of Eleonora De Giuseppe, born in Tricase, a small town in Salento. From an early age she shows her propensity for drawing. In 2008 she began painting on walls in the province, signing herself with her eye, an eye with long eyelashes that seems to want to speak. After several exhibitions in London, Paris and Berlin, in 2014 she moved to Milan, where she opened her atelier and got noticed with her ironic, original murals, in which objects come alive and seem to have fun changing shape. In the same year he obtained permission from the City of Milan to paint the city’s electrical substations, thus an open-air art gallery was born. More than 100 cabins have come to life with his veracious imagination, becoming true works of art.
In 2016 his designs were printed on SANTERO 958 bottles, a famous wine brand from the Cuneo region.
To date, 1 million bottles have been sold in Italy and abroad.
